Manhattan, 1998.

I was working in a kitchen more back alley than fine dining when a server caught wind of a party. Though exclusive, she had an in. We thrived that way back then, through connections. We still do.

I followed along, not expecting much past a dance and the last of the free champagne. I had no idea I’d be so awestruck by the hotel’s grandeur. Least of all, to quietly note its formula.

You see, I understood in that moment that a great chef is much like a great hotel. In that true innovation works with tradition and that sophistication endures when it welcomes a little edge.

I promised myself I would only revisit when I had perfected that formula.It was neither time nor accolades that saw me ready to return, but a coat. The Grand Executive coat. It was only when I’d earned this coat that I could once again visit The Grand Soho and stand in that same grandeur, a chef of the same cloth.

Be it a dish, a memory, or the awe-inspiring grandeur of a hotel lobby, inspiration is everywhere. We created our Grand Executive Coat for the chef who never let inspiration be inspiration alone but rather a channel into the hard work, tenacity, and gumption that sees a good chef become a great one.

14-Day Policy: Request returns or size/colour exchanges within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.

Courier Fees: Customers cover return courier fees (except for manufacturing defects reported within 7 days, which we cover fully).

Exclusions: We cannot accept returns on embroidered items, sale items, gift cards, or certain shoes.
