I walked into Dante’s century‐old café for a quick bite. And yet, twenty years later, I still carry that morning with me - a morning that taught me a lifelong craft doesn’t spring from chasing novelty but from honoring the traditions and community that first lit its fires.

Nursing the blow of a hard year - having sought fame and accolades until my cooking felt empty - I crossed Dante’s threshold into a place that doesn’t chase the new, but perfects the old. The bittersweet aroma of espresso hit me as the barista worked the antique machine - a ritual unchanged for decades. Simple wooden benches, worn smooth by shared stories, held couples in soft laughter and lone scribblers hunched over notebooks. An older man at the counter caught my eye and raised his cup in a silent toast, a gesture that said “you belong here.” It wasn’t achievement that mattered, but presence. Being seen. Being welcome. In that ambient haven, I remembered why I cooked: not for myself, but for others; not for reinvention, but for the tradition of bringing people together.

Constructed from premium 160gsm polycotton twill with strategically positioned Honeycomb mesh ventilation, The Dante delivers targeted airflow across the centre back, raglan sleeves and key heat zones to help regulate body temperature throughout demanding service. Ergonomic raglan sleeves, shoulder darts and sleeve vents work together to provide a natural range of motion, while side slits further improve flexibility during long hours in the kitchen.

A modern centre zip closure creates a clean executive aesthetic, supported by an internal clear button that ensures the garment sits perfectly flat. Double-needle topstitching reinforces high-stress areas for lasting durability, while the front button stand and structured back yoke create a sharp, tailored silhouette.

Practical features include a dedicated sleeve thermometer and pen pocket, a discreet back neck apron clip with signature Chefs Brigade stud, and the signature Performance Series finish. 14-Day Policy: Request returns or size/colour exchanges within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.

Courier Fees: Customers cover return courier fees (except for manufacturing defects reported within 7 days, which we cover fully).

Exclusions: We cannot accept returns on embroidered items, sale items, gift cards, or certain shoes.
